Aged on the lees for 5 months the wine shows aromas of grapefruit and sweet melon along with mineral and yeasty notes. Medium bodied on the palate with beautiful balance and a long lasting finish.

Schubert Wines is a boutique winery founded in 1998 by Kai Schubert and Marion Deimling, both trained at Germany’s renowned Geisenheim University. After working in prestigious wine regions across Europe, North and South America, and Australia, they set out to find the ideal location for Pinot Noir. That search led them to Martinborough, in New Zealand’s Wairarapa region, where they saw both the potential of the land and the chance to build something enduring.

From the beginning, Kai and Marion have shaped Schubert Wines with equal parts ambition and precision - Kai bringing bold vision and global perspective, Marion grounding the project in technical excellence and quiet discipline.
