Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc ain't just one thing, there's a growing diversity of styles. Just like this. There's freshness with texture and toned down aromatics will appeal to a broader audience of wine lovers. Blended with 10% Semillon, this is aged in concrete egg and french oak.
Grapes were hand-picked, and organically and biodynamically farmed. The fruit was whole bunch pressed, after which 30% of the juice was fermented and aged in old French oak barrels, introducing subtle complexity and texture. The remaining portion underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation was carried out using naturally occurring yeasts. Post-fermentation, the wine was aged on its lees for 10 months
