Kelly Washington Organic Chardonnay 2020
This Chardonnay displays aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus, vanilla and toasty oak. The palate is oozing elegance, balancing a lively acidity with a full and creamy mouthfeel.
The grapes were sourced from the Rapaura subregion, specifically from organically farmed vines over 25 years old rooted in the valley's clay soils. Grapes were handpicked and whole-bunch pressed, and the juice was fermented using naturally occurring yeasts, in new and neutral French oak barrels and puncheons, introducing subtle complexity and texture. Post-fermentation, the wine was aged on lees in oak, before filtering and bottling.
