Fresh and generous, with juicy strawberry and notes of dried ltalian herbs. The earthy finish with a lingering minerality is elevated by a bright acidity.

Clos Henri is a distinguished Marlborough vineyard, established by the renowned Sancerre winegrowing family, Henri Bourgeois. With a legacy spanning 10 generations in France's Loire Valley, the Bourgeois family sought to explore new terroirs, leading them to Marlborough in 2000, and the creation of their meticulously developed Clos Henri, an organically run estate specialising in Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wines.
Clos Henri's commitment to organic viticulture and traditional French winemaking techniques are part of the reason they produce elegant, textural wines that capture the intense character of Marlborough.

The vineyard encompasses three distinct soil types: clay, gravel, and silt, each imparting unique characteristics to the wines. Visitors can experience these nuances firsthand at the tasting room, set in a quaint, restored chapel amidst the vines.
